METEO OMNIUM allows solar farms to verify their performance.
For this, various devices can be used:

  • pyranometer (heat flux sensor used for measuring the amount of solar energy in natural light)
  • pyrheliometer (instrument for measuring the intensity of direct solar radiation), mounted on a tracking system (SunTracker).

The pyranometer is used to measure the total power of solar radiation in watts per square meter.

The pyrheliometer measures the direct radiation from the sun, excluding that emitted from the sky or ground.
