Agricultural meteorology is a discipline mixing meteorology and agronomy : the solar agricultural weather station allows observing meteorological data to better track culture growth conditions and to optimize exploitation and production methods. Equipped with various sensors, it allows immediate use of corrected data to treat culture, irrigation, and the prevention of insects.
The lacquered aluminum structure is garanteed against corrosion.
The solar energy system allows from 20 to 28 days of autonomy without sunlight.
Data is refreshed, transmitted, and displayed every 6 minutes.
The station can evolve depending on the needs and selected sensors.
These are the sensors most used with an agricultural station :
- Air temperature and relative humidity sensor
- Rain gauge
- Wind gauge
- Weathercock
- Pyranometer (sunlight meter)
- Humectometer (humidity of the foliage)
- Ground temperature sensor for different depths
- Ground humidity sensor for different depths
METEO OMNIUM adapts the equipment on stations to the specific needs of each client. The future addition of other sensors is also possible.
Data transfer by GPRS communication is simple : they are available on any computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.
The user-friendliness and performance of the graphic interface are very intuitive. It allows reading and using the data very easily.
SMS alerts can be sent based on specific weather events.
The solar agricultural weather station can be installed in isolated locations and/or difficult to access (where electrical power is not available).
