The PT100 probe cryopedometer, placed in particularly sensitive locations alongside your road network, allows automatically collecting road surface and load-bearing ground temperatures at various depths, to track exactly the evolution of frost depth in the road surface and inform technical personnel on thaw barrier opportunities.
The length of the cryopedometer, the number of PT100 measurement points, and their depth are determined by the client's needs.
The standard is a 1m probe allowing for 5 measurement points : -10cm, -20cm, -40cm, -70cm, and -100cm.

The vertical sealing of the cryopedometer allows precise tracking temperature evolutions at different road layers.
Collected data is automatically transferred through its cable. The automatic cryopedometer does not require any displacement to collect temperature readings.
Connected to a measurement station, it directly communicates its data. Collected temperatures curves are available on local computer or over the Internet.

Installing a cryopedometer in the road surface is simple.
The cryopedometer is sealed vertically in the road surface after drilling a hole. Its cable runs along a side trench.
