The camera allows surveillance of sensitive road network points, by visual verification of traffic or meteorological conditions. For use by intervention teams, it allows determining if the snow sticks to the road surface or not.
The camera can be powered by the grid, or solar panels. Associated with a transmission box (MODEM and antenna), it can directly transmit its data by GPRS communications.
Its infrared lighting allows for 25m reach, for nightime viewability.
